Heartland Homes donates environmentally friendly building materials to help build up communities with economic and political disparities. Hempcrete, and other bio-based building materials, can unlock sustainable housing at scale to help create a tangible foundation across America.
The evolution of humanity comes down to a handful of foundational materials. Concrete allowed us to build high-rises, copper allowed us to harness electricity, and silicon allowed us to create microchips.
The next frontier of material science will require a compound that unlocks hundreds of high-value use cases that span across every market sector. The hemp plant provides more structural integrity for less cost than thousands of existing materials in almost every market.
Industries that have traditionally relied on synthetic materials are investing in plant-based alternatives because the production of these materials is dirty, unsafe, and unsustainable.
Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) investing is overtaking boardrooms as executives realize that they have a responsibility to make sustainable and ethical investments.
Hempcrete Is Pest Resistant
Hempcrete is made from three ingredients: hemp hurd, lime, and water. Although there are different mixtures, the traditional solution is 4:1:1 four parts hemp hurd, with one part lime binder, and one part water.
Added all together they the three ingredients form an efficient and durable material that can be made in almost any shape. It is aesthetically pleasing, and mixes well with stone, wood, tile, and other building materials. We primarily produce two main products.
Hemp-Based Biocomposites Are Stronger, Lighter, and Cheaper Than the Competing Products
Hempcrete is an Environmentally Friendly and Cost Effective Alternative for People who are Looking for Stronger, Longer Lasting Building Materials
Our companies work with key stakeholders in the infrastructure and real estate development industries. These people are looking to become a part of the future of sustainable infrastructure creation.
